“The Glasshouse" is the last of three singles and title-track of the upcoming album set to be released on April 12th 2024. “The Glasshouse" is a critical examination of the consequences of unbridled consumer behavior. The narrative explores themes of societal and environmental exploitation, combined with the uncomfortable time awaiting the inevitable storm. This hauntingly beautiful composition is a tantalizing foretaste of the band's forthcoming album, which promises a melodic exploration of atmospheric landscapes, dystopian scenarios and self-reflection.

"How to put it on hold, put it on hold, to buy what is sold?”, chants singer Annina Mossoni, drawing a picture of social complexity and inviting the listener to reflect on the delicate balance between preservation and exploitation. The juxtaposition of moody, somber atmospheres and groovy, dreamy undertones creates a hypnotic soundscape that invites the audience to lose themselves in the multi-layered levels of alpha-ray's musical world. As the track unfolds, a gravitational pull unfolds with unstoppable allure, holding the listener in a melancholic embrace that is both eerie and captivating.

alpha-ray masterfully manage to combine lyrical and poetic depth, with a groovy, infectious musicality to create a single that is as thought-provoking as it is sonically captivating.
