"Hold Your Horses" is an energetic, multi-layered synth arpeggio track and proof of alpha-ray's ability to combine warm sentimentality with an energetic sound experience. The lyrics are a plea to curb one's temper and a metaphorical call to reflect on one's actions. As singer Annina Mossoni delicately weaves her words, she sings of the emotional process of setting boundaries and living through the resulting changes.

The first single of the upcoming album is an impressive soundscape of wild synth-sounds (Annina Mossoni and Jaronas Höhener) and complex groove passages (of drummer Flo Hufschmid and Jan Dintheer on guitar and electric bass).
